We are looking for passionate and dedicated people to help spread the Baby Signs^® message through our Independent Certified Instructor (ICI) Program. By becoming a Baby Signs^® Instructor, you can have fun and earn additional income teaching Baby Signs^® classes and workshops in your own community. The Baby Signs^® ICI Program is designed to train, certify and support our growing team of Instructors as they build their own home businesses. Once you become a Certified Instructor, you will be able to earn income not only by offering Baby Signs^® Parent Workshops and Sign, Say & Play^® Classes, but also by providing the entire range of Baby Signs^® products and resources to the families and child care centres in your community.

What best describes a typical Independent Certified Instructor?

A typical ICI is a busy individual actively involved in their family, community and, frequently, in a career outside their Baby Signs^® business.  Commonly, the ICI is a parent, a teacher, therapist, psychologist, nurse, youth worker or member of another helping profession, either by current employment, voluntary work, or background. 

They are people who care about children and families and want to promote the Baby Signs^® Programme and products because they believe strongly in the values of Baby Signs^® movement.  They are also keen to supplement their current income in a positive way.

These are some of the things we look for in a potential instructor:

• Experience using sign language for babies
• A love for and experience working with babies
• A passion for sharing the Baby Signs^®  Program with families
• Desire for running an independent business
• Commitment to completing the 4 week training program.

What is involved when training to becoming an Independent Certified Instructor?

Individuals who are chosen and provided the opportunity to become a Certified Instructor will receive:

• An intensive 4 week training program. This training has all the resources such as ready-to-teach curricula, business administration documents, marketing documents, including resources needed to conduct workshop and classes. 
• Access to other instructors throughout Malaysia to ask questions and share information (work-in-progress)
• Ready-to-teach curricula created by child development experts based on 20 years of research and experience signing with hearing babies
• Access to Baby Signs^® products and resources to sell for additional profit
• Periodic training sessions
• Access to an email address and web page through www.babysignsmalaysia.com
• Unlimited direct access to support staff
• The opportunity to benefit from various national advertising, marketing, and business relationships with highly recognized companies.
